The First 5 months and loving every minute.

My sparse blogging has got to stop. In truth I've never been good at diaries, but I have been keeping a note book handy that I manage to write down the day to day events of Connor's life. So I'm trying dammit. I'm not sure if anyone reads this anyways, I have a facebook account and that is thriving.

Back to the task at hand.

Connor turned 5 months old on Friday and it's been amazing. I've been extremely fortunate so far as the days are not flying by and I've gotten a chance to absorb every moment with him. When he was first born I remember wondering if I would ever get used to this, and in some ways I have but in most ways I'm still stunned with amazement that I get to be his mother. I also wonder if it's going to be weird if I still watch him sleep when he's 25. Got to get all the kisses I can get in now.

I always wonder what type of a guy he's going to be. I know that we'll give him guidance and a solid foundation, and hopefullly he'll understand the sweet hilarity of a slip and fall when it happens...

You kinda wonder how they are going to learn all the things that define the mile stones of being a baby. When they have their first belly laugh, roll over, sleep through the night, discovering the world through their mouths, sitting up on their own. The list goes on, and they truely do just kinda figure it out. There's no feeling like it, and no rush. I want Connor to stay a baby for as long as possible. All this thinking of things to write and all I want to do is go wake him up and sqeeze him, feel his little hands on my face. OK here's some pictures of week 1 to month 5. Enjoy as I have. MUAH.
